L'Association de vélo de montagne des Appalaches (AVMA) est un organisme sans but lucratif ayant comme mission le développement de sentiers de vélo de montage et la promotion de ce sport dans la sous-région des Appalaches, situé en Chaudière-Appalaches au Québec. L'AVMA est composée d'un conseil d'administration constituée de sept membres passionnés par le vélo de montage et d'une équipe de bénévoles. Depuis ses débuts en 2018, l'AVMA, en collaboration avec la Ville de Thetford Mines, a développé un réseau de sentiers de plus de 15 kilomètres situé aux Sentiers du Sommet de Thetford Mines, accessibles aux cyclistes et aux randonneurs.

The Atlantic Canada Conservation Data Centre (AC CDC) compiles and provides objective data about biological diversity in Atlantic Canada, and we undertake fieldwork to further knowledge of the distribution and status of species and ecological communities of conservation concern. All our efforts are in support of conservation-related decision making, research and education. Our mission is to assemble and provide objective and understandable data and expertise about species and ecological communities of conservation concern, including those at risk, and to undertake field biological inventories in support of decision-making, research, and education in Atlantic Canada.
