How accessible is your workplace? How can you better support employees living with visible and non-visible disabilities? How can you become a self-advocate and land a Green Job?
This workshop will focus on accessibility in the forest sector.
Youth will learn how to become a self-advocate and pitch themselves to land a Green Job. We will also discuss available opportunities in the forest sector.
Employers will learn more about visible and non-visible disabilities and how best to support your staff. We will also talk about the benefits of an accessibility audit and investing in diversity.
The PLT Canada Green Jobs are for Everyone Workshop Series will be held over four half-days via Zoom Meetings. Registrants will receive their Zoom log-in credentials in advance of the workshop, so be on the lookout for an email from PLTCanada@forests.org. In the meantime, check out our Zoom 101 to get acquainted with the Zoom Meetings platform a bit more.
