These roles involve assisting in research related to wetland biodiversity functions generally and also to specific occurrences of turtle egg implosion. Research will involve calcium content of eggs, water quality monitoring and wetland habitat assessments; the goal of the positions are to assist in understanding environmental conditions or anthropogenic inputs that are affecting the success of Species at Risk recruitment and to estimate the health of wetland ecosystems through sampling of water, invertebrates, macrophytes and wildlife. The role will also involve assessing results, analyzing trends, providing recommendations and recording data and summaries to contribute to scientific reports.
