The Green Ride for Green Jobs is Heading for the Finish Line in St. John’s on Sept. 23

The grand finale of the Green Ride for Green Jobs will take place in St. John’s, Newfoundland on September 23 at the Terry Fox Mile 0 Site from 10:00 to 12:00 (Newfoundland Time). Zac Wagman, our “green rider,” is finally crossing the finish line on his wooden bike after his epic cross?Canada journey from Victoria that began in May. Zac has biked over 9,000 km this summer, visiting more than 100 communities and sharing countless stories of youth working in green jobs in the great outdoors. We are celebrating Zac’s achievement in time for National Forest Week—a celebration of Canada’s forest heritage that raises awareness of this valuable and renewable resource.

PLT Canada announces renewed green jobs funding to support youth across Canada
