He spent his days planting trees and completing training. He plans to attend university to pursue a career in computer science. She hopes to become a police officer in the future.

Blayne Shewaybick Webequie First Nation Participant, Outland Youth Employment Program Dream Job: Unsure Blayne said he enjoyed being outdoors and meeting new people the most during his Green Job experience in 2021. He did a lot of bush work and some cooking, too. In 2021, Blayne had finished school and was looking for more work. He also hopes to become a better cook.
PLT Canada’s Green Mentor Program matches over 100 people in Canada’s forest and conservation sector
On Oct. 13, 2021, PLT Canada launched the October 2021 National Cohort of their Green Mentor Program. The six-month mentorship program supports 51 mentor-mentee pairs, and includes mentors from the Sustainable Forestry Initiative’s (SFI) network and mentees interested in breaking into the forest and conservation sector.
