They hope to become a military chef in the future and plan to go to culinary school. Brice’s advice to other young adults is that if people don’t believe in you, you have to believe in yourself.

She’s unsure of what her future holds, but she knows she wants a career that allows her to spend time outside.
Jasper Beaver Summer Beaver (Nibinamik) First Nation Participant, Outland Youth Employment Program Dream Job: Unsure Jasper said she loved being outside during her time at the Outland Youth Employment Program in 2021. In 2021, she was in high school and didn’t know what the future holds. Her advice is to not be shy and to be yourself.
Cherish Johnson Seine River First Nation Participant, Outland Youth Employment Program Dream Job: Unsure Meeting new people, being outside, and completing certifications are what Cherish loved most during her Green Job experience in 2021. She said she was also excited to plant trees. She advises other young adults to stay focused and positive.
