Meghan has worked at OYEP as a Ranger (two years) and a Crew Leader in Training (three years). Typically, her work days would include tree planting, trail clearing and certification training. Her five years at OYEP were life changing, and she even got to join the British Columbia camp in 2019. Meghan looks forward to new opportunities, people, projects and more every season. She said without OYEP, her community’s support and all the people she met along the way, she would not be where she is today. In 2021, Meghan was studying Native Child and Family Services at Confederation College.

Sage Moses Biigtigong Nishnaabeg Crew leader, Outland Youth Employment Program (OYEP) Sage has worked with OYEP since 2016 and inspires other First Nation youth through her Green Job. She is also completing her post-secondary studies in Native Child and Family Services, and her goal is to continue helping Indigenous youth set their lives in a positive direction.

Lucas Rioux-DePerry Ginoogaming First Nation Crew leader in Training, Outland Youth Employment Program (OYEP) Lucas won the Sydney Kenequanash Memorial Award for being a leader and positive influence among his peers at the Mink Lake OYEP camp.
