Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a reliable, experienced and hard-working climbing arborist. This arborist will lead a crew on pruning and removal projects. Responsibilities include:
Climbing: Safely ascending trees for the purposes of pruning and removal, avoiding damage to targets.
Client Education: Explaining the scope of work as well as the scientific basis for the approach to a particular project.
QUALIFICATIONS
The following are essential prior to training:
2 + years of climbing experience;
A high school diploma or higher;
A chainsaw operation certificate;
A G driver’s licence or higher as well as a personal vehicle; and
The following are assets but not essential:
ISA certification;
Bilingualism;
A degree in arboriculture or forestry; and
First Aid certification.
