Temagami First Nation has had an intricate, respectful, reciprocal, spiritual and protective tie to the land. The nature of this tie is not so much one of ownership but one of stewardship — N’Daki-Menan.

Company History

The First Nation community of Bear Island includes 250 permanent residents with a membership of 600 through out Canada. Temagami First Nation preserves the integrity of Teme-Augama Anishnabai as the stewards of n’Daki Menan.
