Company History
Backcountry Property Management was established in 2015. Continuing a long history of family working in the forestry and outdoor industry since the late 1800’s in the McConnell Lake and surrounding area. We have grown since 2015 with 1 employee increasing to currently 15 seasonal full time and part time employees most of which are first nation members.

Backcountry Property management is a small family run business. Most employees past and present become like family some of which have moved on to their for ever jobs in their field of study. We are a diverse company offering services in silviculture, camp ground management, property management, trapping and snow removal. We continue to strive to expand business and employment opportunities.
