Scott and Stewart Forestry Consultants Ltd. is one of the largest non-industrial forest management firms in Nova Scotia.
We take a seed to stump approach to forestry with our tree nursery, silviculture crews, and harvesting operations. We are able to work closely with landowners to ensure their needs are met and they are able to manage their woodlots for economic, environmental, and recreational activities.
Whether it is intensive forest operations, single tree selection, or reclamation projects we have the teams and tools in place to ensure it is carried out to our clients specifications.

Company History

Since 1986 we have been a key contributor to Nova Scotia’s forestry sector. As a silviculture focused company we take great pride in our ability to manage our clients woodland sustainably.
We have been practicing Ecological forestry for over 30 years and hope to be the leaders in the next generation of forest management.

Company Facts

We grow and plant over 2.5 Million tree seedlings each year and reforest 1,500 acres of woodland each year.
