Location: Resource Centre at Fredericton Botanic Gardens
Cost: Thanks to TD Friends of the Environment Foundation, your training is FREE!

Get outdoors and learn about the joys of forests, the environment, and how to bring them into your education space. PLT Canada is dedicated to experiential education, forest literacy, green careers, and supporting teachers through ready-to-use resources for a lifetime of learning. Get hands-on experience with our award-winning, ready-to-use resources to gain knowledge of the environment, experiential learning, and confidence in taking your learners outdoors. All activities are connected to the UN SDG’s, CMEC Global Competencies, and will soon be connected directly to the New Brunswick Curriculum. We will be focusing on all things K-8, from Science to Math to English Language Arts, all through the lens of trees and forests.

Plus, you will receive an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the forest sector and learn how to bring that knowledge to your students and energize them about green careers.

This training will be offered bilingually! All participants will be certified as PLT Canada Educators and take home a certificate of completion and a complimentary copy of our resource.
