Rideau Gymnastics is one of the best-equipped gymnastics facilities in Canada. It offers all streams of gymnastics at recreational and competitive levels, through programs for children, special needs individuals, adults, and seniors, including classes, camps, school trips, workshops, open houses, summer camps, PD-day childcare and holiday-themed events for families. Rideau is the largest gymnastics facility in the Ottawa area and provides year-round opportunities for participation in activities that promote physical well-being through sports, mental well-being through creativity and self-expression, and social well-being through community connections fostered through all our programming. We bolster the local economy through numerous full- and part-time jobs and have provided employment to more than 500 youth in the last seven years. Ever since our establishment, Rideau Gymnastics has been dedicated to the full inclusion of everyone in our diverse community. This includes servicing underrepresented populations with classes for seniors, coaching for children with special needs, and a school board partnership to offer after-school activities in French.

Acting on the principle that preservation of land in our communities is paramount, the Rideau Waterway Land Trust (RWLT) works with property owners and residents to preserve land for the benefit of the community and for future generations.
The Rideau Waterway Land Trust (RWLT) is a charitable organization established in 1996 with a mission to preserve important natural lands and habitats in the Rideau Corridor and foster a healthy future for our communities. The RWLT is governed by an elected volunteer Board of Directors. These volunteers come from a variety of backgrounds, including land-use planning, environmental management, education, law, finance and fundraising.
The Land Trust benefits from a vibrant supporter base, which shares an abiding interest in the preservation of lands within the Rideau Corridor.
