Towering trees and pollinator-friendly plants aren’t just for the countryside. Plants and green spaces make our towns and cities healthy and vibrant places to live. Green spaces don’t just provide important homes for insects, birds, and animals, they also help us feel cooler and more comfortable on hot, sunny days. But did you know that cities can be tough places for trees and plants to grow, and thrive? In this session with Arborist, Meg Hanna, you’ll discover who plants and cares for the trees and plants in our neighbourhoods. Climb into the canopy of urban forestry!
