Western Educational Adventures Inc. provides industry leading experiential outdoor adventures within Greater Victoria and elsewhere on Vancouver Island, British Columbia that focus on participant fun and safety. Under the guidance of our highly qualified and certified outdoor educators participants not only learn new outdoor and personal skills, they also learn about themselves.

We believe that young people need a strong, well rounded education in order to be successful in today’s society – that there is much more to education than what is taught in our current education system. That’s why at Western Educational Adventures, we take our programs one step further than the competition. We provide our participants with an exceptional fun learning experience while teaching outdoor, academic, and life skills. Our participants learn to think for themselves, manage conflict and accept responsibility for their actions – they learn who they are.

The vision of Western Educational Adventures was born from Landon’s (founder) varied outdoor experiences and a passion for both the outdoors and working with children. Landon’s vision was to create programming that not only allowed participants to experience the natural world but to facilitate the learning of outdoor and practical life skills, including leadership, by using the outdoors as a learning medium.

Western Educational Adventures now runs youth day programs (day camps), multi-day programs (multi-day camps) and overnight programs (overnight camps), school programs, educational canoe, kayak and hiking expeditions for children and youth and custom outdoor programs for all ages in and around Greater Victoria and Vancouver Island. Whether you are a 9 year old looking for something fun to do this summer, a teacher looking for an educational class trip, a company looking for a team building venue or a family wanting more than just a kayak tour, look to us to for a one of a kind outdoor educational experience.
